Supreme Court decides to exempt manufacturers of medical devices from any damages resulting from their use...provided that the FDA approved them before they went on the market. Given the politicization of FDA decisions, consumer "protection" may be going by the wayside. Next up may be a similar move for such "pre-emptive" shields for drug manufacturers.
